We want your garden to be the envy of the neighbourhood, so keep these “Gordale Tips” in mind:

The “Head Start” Trick: While it’s too early to plant these directly into the ground, you can pot up your Begonias and Dahlias now and keep them in a frost-free greenhouse or on a sunny windowsill. This extra warmth now means more flowers later!

Planting Depth: As a general rule, plant bulbs two to three times their own depth. However, for Nerines, keep the “neck” of the bulb just above the soil—they love to feel the sun on their shoulders!
