At Gordale Garden & Home Centre, we’re open throughout this in-between week, making it an ideal place to meet up with friends and family, enjoy great food and soak up a little more festive magic.
A Warm Welcome for Festive Catch-Ups ☕🍳
Whether you’re continuing family celebrations, meeting friends you haven’t seen in a while, or simply getting out of the house for some fresh air, Gordale is a lovely place to gather. Our café is open and welcoming, serving comforting favourites and giving you the chance to enjoy a relaxed catch-up without the rush of the pre-Christmas build-up.
If you’re visiting on New Year’s Day, we’ll be open from 11am until 5pm, serving all-day breakfast — the perfect way to ease into the New Year with good food and good company.
The Singing Penguins Are Still Here! 🐧🎶
If you haven’t visited yet — or you’d like to enjoy them one more time — our much-loved singing penguins are still entertaining visitors during the festive period. They continue to delight children and adults alike and add a little extra magic to a visit between Christmas and New Year.

Don’t forget that Gordale’s petrol station will also be open over the festive period, offering competitive fuel prices — ideal if you’re travelling to see friends and family or heading out for a winter walk.
