Charity Santa’s Grotto returns!
Journey into Christmas at Gordale where our Winter Wonderland awaits. Embark on a magical adventure as you wander along the path, taking in the snow-covered displays, festive characters and twinkling lights. A cheerful elf will guide you into the Grotto where Santa is waiting to greet you. Ho, ho, ho!
Charity Santa’s Grotto 2025 is operated by the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, who will receive 100% of the ticket price.
Located in our undercover canopy area, the Grotto is indoors but please wear suitable clothing for the weather as it can get a little chilly!
Charity Santa’s Grotto 2025 opens at 11am on Saturday 29th November and runs until Tuesday 23rd December.
Online booking is essential, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Grotto Opening Times:
11am – 5pm, weekends
1pm – 6.30pm, weekdays

Quiet-Time Grotto Experience
This experience is for children that would prefer a quieter environment. During these sessions, there will be fewer visitors, low-level music and the twinkling lights will be turned off. Visitors can still enjoy the wonderland, greet Santa and receive a gift.
As with all ticketed events, booking is essential.

Mon 1st, Tue 2nd, Wed 17th and Thu 18th December from 4.30-6.30pm
Wed 3rd December from 1pm-6.30pm

Please note:
- Each 15 minute slot will have multiple children booked in – the time slots are simply a guide to reduce queue times for you. Please arrive at the start of your time slot.
- Advanced booking is essential – book now to avoid disappointment.
- Times slots for ALL Santa’s Grotto sessions must be purchased in advance.
- All adults, children and infants must have a valid ticket to enter the Grotto
- Tickets will be sent to you via email, please check your junk emails if you cannot find your tickets.
On the day:
Please arrive at the beginning of your time slot to ensure all children have the opportunity to see Santa within their estimated slot.
Tickets can be presented via a paper e-ticket, or on smart phones and tablets.
Refund policy
Christmas Charity Grotto tickets are non-refundable.
