As the festive season approaches, we are thrilled to announce the return of Santa’s Charity Grotto! This beloved event is a cherished tradition for us. We can’t wait to bring joy and Christmas cheer to our community, and all whilst supporting a great cause.
Experience the Magic
When you enter into our grotto area, you’ll be instantly transported to a winter wonderland, filled with twinkling lights, festive decorations, and the unmistakable spirit of Christmas. Little ones will have the chance to meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and even receive a special gift to take home. The excitement and wonder in their eyes are simply priceless!
Supporting a Worthy Cause
What makes this event truly special is its charitable heart. Each visit to Santa’s Grotto helps support a local charity, Hospice of the Good Shepherd, spreading kindness and Christmas cheer to those in need. By participating, you’re not only creating magical memories for your family, but also making a positive impact in our community.
Festive Fun
The grotto is just one part of the festive fun at Gordale. Alongside meeting Santa, you can enjoy a range of seasonal activities, from late-night shopping to festive donkey rides. Our team of merry elves have been hard at work transforming our Garden Centre into a Christmas wonderland, complete with a miniature Christmas village, thousands of decorations, and gift ideas galore. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, making it the perfect destination for a magical Christmas experience.
Plan Your Visit
Santa’s Charity Grotto will be open from Saturday 30th November until Monday 23rd December, so make sure to book your visit online. Spaces are limited and selling out fast, so to avoid disappointment, we advise booking early. Tickets are just £4 for infants, £8 for children and £1 for adults – all available to book online.
A Quieter Experience
New for 2024 we have introduced a quiet-time grotto, with reduced capacity sessions, turned down music and without twinkling lights, it aims to ensure all our guests can experience the Grotto’s magic. Sessions will be available on Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th December – book online.
So whether you’re looking to create lasting memories, support a noble cause, or simply soak up the festive atmosphere, Gordale Garden Centre is the place to be. Don’t miss out on this heartwarming event—journey into Christmas at Gordale.
